After a mysterious disappearance lasting over a year, a pet snake made an unexpected reappearance when a crow inadvertently dropped it onto the roof of a garage in Britain on Monday.

The unusual turn of events began when a homeowner spotted the three-foot-long corn snake in her garden and promptly alerted the local Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) unit to rescue the wandering reptile. However, by the time assistance arrived, the snake had vanished, only to resurface later on the roof of a nearby garage.

The RSPCA, shedding light on the bizarre incident via a Facebook post, speculated that a crow might have played a part in relocating the snake, although unintentionally. The organization stressed that the tale was genuine and not an April Fool's Day prank.

Remarkably, it was revealed that the snake was, in fact, a pet named Agnes who had slipped away from her home over a year prior. Despite the odds, Agnes had managed not only to survive on her own for such an extended period but also endured the harsh conditions of a frigid winter.

"She was found to have a respiratory infection from being outside in the cold, but it’s a miracle that she survived at all after so long," remarked the RSPCA.

Following her recovery from illness, Agnes is now in search of a new home, with numerous interested parties vying to provide her with a safe and caring environment.
