After rumours started circulating online, sparked by food influencers and reports, fans eagerly awaited confirmation. Many expressed their excitement in the comments section, with one user even joking, “I’ve been calling Cherry 7UP Shirley Temple for years!”
The rumours were confirmed when 7UP announced that their limited edition "Shirley Temple" soda will be available from October 14 to December 31, 2024, while supplies last. The company said that this new release brings a modern twist to the nostalgic mocktail, combining pomegranate, cherry, and citrus flavours for a refreshing holiday drink.

Andrew Springate, the chief marketing officer of Keurig Dr. Pepper, expressed enthusiasm for the launch, stating, "We are thrilled to confirm that 7UP Shirley Temple is on the way." He described the drink as a festive addition to the holiday season, perfect for parties and gatherings, or simply enjoyed on its own.

For those interested, 7UP Shirley Temple will be available in 12-packs and 2-litre bottles, with a zero-sugar option for health-conscious consumers. The drink will only be available at retailers across the U.S. for a limited time. According to 7UP, the drink has gained popularity online, inspired by the most-visited beverage recipe on their website, showing its lasting appeal.
