McDonald’s is bringing back its Spicy Chicken McNuggets for a limited time at select locations. McDonald’s

McDonald's is heating up its menu once again with the return of its popular Spicy Chicken McNuggets. These nuggets, which have a crispy tempura coating infused with cayenne and chilli pepper, are back for a limited time at participating locations. This spicy twist to the classic McNugget was last available regionally in 2022, and fans have been eager for their return.
The spicy nuggets are available in six, ten, twenty, and thirty-piece orders, and are served with a specially made dipping sauce featuring crushed red pepper, spicy chilis, and garlic for an extra kick. Customers in cities such as Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, Memphis, New York, and others can enjoy this fiery option starting from Monday, November 4.

McDonald's first introduced Spicy Chicken McNuggets in September 2020, marking the first new McNugget flavor in the U.S. since the original debuted in 1983. Since then, the spicy nuggets have become a fan favorite, with several limited-time appearances over the years. Their reappearance is exciting for those who enjoy bold flavors and crave a little extra heat in their fast-food options.

This menu addition comes at a time when McDonald's is working to recover from a recent E. coli outbreak linked to onions used in its Quarter Pounders. The outbreak, which affected 90 people and resulted in one death, caused significant concern for the company. Despite this, McDonald's continues to innovate and bring back popular menu items like the Spicy Chicken McNuggets to keep customers engaged and coming back for more.

Spicier chicken options have become increasingly popular in the fast-food industry, with competitors like KFC and Wendy's also launching their own versions of spicy chicken nuggets earlier this year. McDonald's reintroduction of this spicy treat shows their commitment to staying competitive in the ever-evolving fast-food landscape.

For those keeping an eye on nutrition, McDonald's Spicy Chicken McNuggets come with 290 calories per six-piece serving. They contain 18 grams of total fat, 17 grams of carbohydrates, and 15 grams of protein. The percentage of daily values is based on a 2,000-calorie diet, making these nuggets a relatively balanced indulgence for those who want to spice up their meal.

McDonald's is known for periodically bringing back limited-time items that customers love, and the return of Spicy Chicken McNuggets is no exception. Whether you’re a longtime fan of these spicy nuggets or eager to try them for the first time, they offer a flavorful twist on the classic McNugget experience. Be sure to grab them while they’re available, as this fiery favorite won't be on the menu forever.
