As the holiday season approaches, Sam's Club has decided to get into the festive spirit with a fun and unique offering: the Holidog. This holiday-themed hot dog is a surprising blend of Thanksgiving and Christmas flavors, combining popular holiday toppings in one mouthwatering bun. According to Sam's Club, the Holidog is their latest attempt to offer customers a convenient, delicious, and festive meal at a great value.
Sam's Club spokesperson explained in an email, "As the holiday season approaches, families are looking for convenient, high-quality meals at a great value. To help, Sam’s Club is introducing the Holidog — a limited-time twist on their popular hot dog, combining Thanksgiving and Christmas toppings all on one bun." It's a unique treat, designed for anyone who wants to celebrate the holidays in a very creative way.

Customers have several quirky options to choose from. One of the three pre-curated combos is the "Club Mash Up," which is a hot dog topped with mashed potatoes and Christmas cookies. Another option, the "Frankly Both," includes pumpkin pie and candy canes as toppings. The final combo is called "Season’s Meatings," which includes turkey and prime rib – perhaps the most traditional of the options, but still quite a holiday twist on a classic hot dog.

For those who like to be a little more adventurous, Sam's Club offers the chance to create a custom Holidog. You can pick one Thanksgiving topping such as turkey, mashed potatoes, or apple pie, and pair it with a Christmas topping, like prime rib, Christmas cookies, or crushed candy canes. You can even add some festive extras like gravy, parsley, whipped cream, or cranberry sauce.

Here’s the best part: all of these festive dogs are completely free. Yes, you read that right – these limited-time treats are on the house. As stated on the Sam’s Club website, when asked if people could actually get these holiday hot dogs, the company simply replied, "Yes. Yes, you can." While you might expect to pay for something as fun and unusual as this, Sam's Club is giving them away to customers in select cities across the U.S. this December.

However, there's a catch: these holiday hot dogs won't be available in Sam’s Club stores. Instead, they will be sold at special Holidog carts in three cities: New York City, Nashville, and Dallas. In New York, the cart will be at the corner of Water & Fulton Streets on December 5 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. (or until supplies run out). On December 9, the cart will be in Nashville at 315 Broadway from 11 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Finally, the cart will be in Dallas at Pegasus Plaza on December 12 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.

The Holidog is a fun and unexpected way for Sam's Club to embrace the holiday spirit. With free festive flavors and an unconventional twist on a hot dog, it’s sure to be a hit for anyone craving a little holiday cheer in an unexpected form.
