For the past five years, Morabito, a self-proclaimed wolf enthusiast, has traversed wildlife refuges across North America, immersing himself in the intricacies of these enigmatic beings. The culmination of this journey led him to take a bold step – leaving behind his former life in Laval to establish a sanctuary that embodies "100 percent Quebec DNA."
Morabito's pack consists of three females and one male, hailing from Ontario. Notably, he claims there are no other wolves south of the Saint Lawrence River, extending to the northeastern United States. The genesis of his pack is a tale of rescue and rehoming, as the wolves originated from various zoos grappling with unanticipated births and the ensuing dilemma of where to accommodate them.
