Health officials have announced a recall for two types of Tony’s Chocolonely chocolate bars after small stones were discovered in some of the products. The recall was shared in a national warning by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) on Thursday.
The CFIA is telling people not to eat, sell, or give away these bars. The two chocolate bars affected by the recall are:

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) also issued a similar recall for these products. According to their notice, the bars might have small stones inside. The chocolate company voluntarily began the recall after they received 12 reports of stones found in the bars.
The issue appears to have started during almond harvesting and processing. A third-party company handled this process, but the stones were not properly filtered out.
So far, no one has been hurt, and all reports of stones came from countries other than Canada or the U.S.
Even though no injuries have been reported, health officials want people to stay safe and check their chocolate bars. If anyone has these products at home, they should stop using them right away.
