Sigourney Weaver captured attention in Paris as she arrived for the premiere of Avatar: Fire and Ash. The 76-year-old actor looked bright and energetic as she posed near the Eiffel Tower. She wore a green and cream tweed jacket, paired with black trousers and polished dress shoes. She added a slim black belt and simple earrings to complete the look. Her well-known reddish-brown bob looked soft and styled for the evening.
Sigourney joined her co-stars Zoe Saldaña, Sam Worthington, and Oona Chaplin at the event. Director James Cameron also stepped out with the cast to celebrate the third film in the hit series.
A New Chapter in the Avatar Story
The new film continues the story three years after Avatar: The Way of Water. Sigourney has appeared in every movie in the franchise. She shared her excitement about the latest chapter and praised the work behind it.

"I've never seen anything like this," she said. "It's just spectacular. We've seen the movie, and we love the movie so much. Some people feel it's their favorite, and that makes you feel very proud."
Her enthusiasm added to the growing buzz around the new release.
A Career Built on Strength and Iconic Roles
Sigourney remains one of Hollywood’s most respected performers. Many fans know her best as Ellen Ripley from the original Alien film in 1979. She continued the role in three sequels, ending in 1997. Ripley became a groundbreaking character, strong and calm in the face of danger. Sigourney once shared how writers originally created Ripley as a male character. She explained that they made the switch because "No one will ever think the girl might end up the survivor."
She said the writers never softened the character. Ripley stayed steady and focused, a rare portrayal for a female lead at the time.
Ripley’s Story May Not Be Over
During a recent appearance at New York Comic Con, Sigourney surprised fans by speaking about early discussions for a fifth Alien film. She said writer Walter Hill created new material for Ripley that felt meaningful to her.

"He wrote 50 pages of where Ripley would be now, and they are quite extraordinary," she said. She added that she never felt the need to return to the role, but Hill’s new vision felt true to her and to Ripley’s journey.
A Healthy Lifestyle Keeps Her Energized
Many fans admire Sigourney’s vibrant appearance at 76. She credited her energy to healthy habits and a vegan lifestyle. She shared that she and her family try to stay vegan as much as possible. She also noted that the Avatar set offers vegan meals because James Cameron supports the same lifestyle.
She believes her work helps keep her strong. "Working in this business makes me stay fit," she said. "Stamina is probably one of the most important things to have."
Her active routine, mixed with her steady career, continues to inspire fans around the world.
