Toronto is gearing up for Taylor Swift's six sold-out concerts in November with a unique fan experience called Version: Taylgate '24. This event aims to bring together Swifties of all ages in a celebration before her shows, offering a space for camaraderie and enjoyment.
The organizers of Version: Taylgate '24 announced their plans on Monday, highlighting the inclusive nature of the event. It promises a vibrant atmosphere with a live DJ spinning Swift's chart-topping hits, designated areas for enthusiastic fans to sing along, and ample room for creating friendship bracelets.
Scheduled to coincide with Swift's performances at Toronto's Rogers Centre on November 14-16 and November 21-23, the Taylgate event will be held daily from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre nearby.
Bram Goldstein, one of the event's co-producers, shared that the inspiration for Taylgate came from his two teenage daughters. They expressed a desire to connect with fellow Swift fans in a warm and sheltered environment, away from the cold weather and early sunsets of late fall.
Goldstein emphasized that Taylgate aims to provide a safe and accessible space for young fans, while also welcoming parents and older enthusiasts. Tickets for all six dates are available for purchase at $55 each through the official website, torontosversion.com.
