The 47-year-old human rights lawyer wore a wrap dress with a plunging neckline, paired with gold droplet earrings. Her long hair flowed in soft waves. She was joined by husband George Clooney, 64, who looked sharp in a grey suit and striped shirt.
Private Event for a Cause
The couple hosted the function at their Lake Como villa for The Clooney Foundation for Justice (CFJ). The event took place ahead of the foundation’s annual Albies awards, set for September 26. Guests enjoyed elegant table settings, lounge chairs, and breathtaking lake views.
A Foundation Dedicated to Justice
Amal and George launched the Clooney Foundation for Justice in 2016 to support victims of human rights abuses. Amal highlighted their mission in a video, saying, “I am a barrister and the founder along with my husband George of the Clooney Foundation for Justice. Our foundation provides free legal support to victims of atrocities all over the world.”

The couple added in a joint statement, “We founded the Clooney Foundation for Justice because we believe in a world where human rights are protected and no one is above the law.” CFJ works on issues often overlooked, helping survivors of war crimes, monitoring sham trials, and challenging global authoritarianism targeting truth-tellers.
George and Amal’s Lake Como Villa
George Clooney purchased the villa and has expressed his love for Italian culture. The property has grown in value over the years, partly due to his celebrity presence and clever property investments.
Life Between Italy and France
Although the villa in Italy is special to the couple, they spend much time in Provence, France. In 2021, they bought Domaine Le Canadel, a luxury chateau costing $8.3 million. The estate features lawns, a pool, tennis court, lake, olive grove, and a 25-acre vineyard. Amal and George also raise their twins, Ella and Alexander, between the two homes.
