Amazon MGM Studios is gearing up to bring Elle Kennedy’s bestselling Off-Campus book series to life. The streaming giant has officially announced the lead cast for its upcoming Prime Video series Off Campus, and fans of young adult romance are in for a treat.

From Page to Screen: A Hockey Romance Comes Alive

The series is based on Kennedy’s five-book Off-Campus saga, which follows a group of elite college hockey players at Briar University. It explores their love lives, heartbreaks, and personal growth as they transition into adulthood. The story captures the thrill of first love, intense friendships, and the struggle of balancing ambition with emotion.

Leading the Ice—And Hearts

Ella Bright, known for The Crown, and Belmont Cameli from Until Dawn have been cast in the lead roles for Season 1. Bright plays Hannah, a sharp and witty music major who despises hockey. Cameli steps into the skates of Garrett, the confident and charming hockey star at Briar University.

Their unexpected romance forms the heart of the first season, which is based on the series' debut novel The Deal.

Meet the Team: Future Leads Already Cast

The series is set to follow an anthology-style structure, similar to Bridgerton. Each season will focus on a different couple, while keeping the original characters in the background storylines.

The lineup includes Antonio Cipriano (Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin) as Logan, who will lead in Season 2’s The Mistake. Jalen Thomas Brooks (The Pitt) is cast as Tucker, the central figure in The Goal. Stephen Kalyn (Gen V) plays Dean, the star of The Score. Mika Abdalla (Snack Shack) will portray Allie, Dean’s eventual love interest.

Love Triangle Alert: Enter the Rival

Josh Heuston joins the cast as Justin, Hannah’s long-time crush and the frontman of a college rock band. He’s set to shake up the chemistry between Hannah and Garrett in Season 1, adding depth to the love triangle.

Creative Power Behind the Scenes

Louisa Levy, who created the series, also serves as co-showrunner alongside Gina Fattore. Both are executive producers, bringing years of storytelling expertise to the project.

Other executive producers include Wyck Godfrey and Marty Bowen of Temple Hill, James Seidman, Leanna Billings of Billings Productions, and Neal Flaherty. Elle Kennedy herself also joins the production team, ensuring authenticity. Deanna Brigidi and Andrea Bunker lead casting.

Rising Stars Light Up the Screen

The cast brings together some of today’s most promising young talent. Bright earned a BAFTA nomination for Malory Towers. Cameli gained attention in Saved by the Bell and the Until Dawn adaptation.

Abdalla had a standout role in Snack Shack and The Pitt. Cipriano starred in National Treasure: Edge of History. Brooks was seen in Eli Roth’s Thanksgiving and had a recurring role in The Pitt. Kalyn appears in Season 2 of Gen V and Motorheads. Heuston continues to rise with roles in Dune: Prophecy and Heartbreak High.

A Promising New Hit for YA Drama Lovers

Off Campus promises romance, rivalry, and resilience, all set against the backdrop of college life and competitive sports. With a dynamic cast and a bestselling story to work from, the series is poised to capture the hearts of YA drama fans everywhere.

Will this new romance saga be your next binge? Stay tuned.
