In a bold move, Baloch separatist leaders have announced a significant step toward independence. Amid growing tensions in the region, they declared their independence from Pakistan and called on the international community, including India and the United Nations, to recognize their new state.

Balochistan’s Declaration of Independence

The Baloch separatists have referred to Pakistan as a "collapsing terrorist state." They claim that a transitional government for the “Democratic Republic of Balochistan” will be announced soon. This declaration marks a pivotal moment in their ongoing struggle for independence.

Request for Diplomatic Recognition

The separatist leaders made a direct appeal to India, asking for permission to establish an official office and embassy in New Delhi. While India has expressed concerns over human rights violations in Balochistan, it has never formally supported Baloch separatism. This diplomatic request is a significant step in the Baloch quest for recognition on the global stage.

UN Support and Financial Aid

The separatists also appealed to the United Nations, urging the organization to recognize Balochistan’s independence. They called for a global meeting of UN members to discuss and support their claim. In addition, they demanded international funding to help establish a national currency and official documents for Baloch citizens.

Peacekeepers and Withdrawal of Pakistani Forces

In one of the most pressing parts of their statement, the separatists called for the United Nations to send peacekeeping forces to Balochistan immediately. They also demanded the withdrawal of Pakistani military forces from the region, along with the removal of all non-Baloch personnel from key positions in the military, intelligence, and civil administration.

Plans for a New Government and Celebration

The Baloch separatists are preparing to announce a transitional government to lead the new independent state. They also emphasized that Baloch women would have representation in the new cabinet. A ceremony to mark the beginning of the new era will take place soon, and the group plans to invite heads of state from friendly countries to attend the national parade.

Escalating Conflict on the Ground

The statement also mentioned the intensification of armed resistance. Baloch fighters are reportedly engaged in street battles with Pakistani forces in several regions. Despite the growing conflict, the separatists claim that local support for their movement remains strong. However, they acknowledged the increasing demands of the war, including the need for heavy weapons, ammunition, and air support.

The Call for International Support

The separatists are seeking international military assistance, as the situation continues to escalate. They believe that with global support, they can strengthen their fight for independence and ultimately secure Balochistan’s sovereignty.
