Baloch leader Mir Yar Baloch has made a bold declaration—Balochistan is not part of Pakistan. His message comes after years of alleged oppression, violence, and state-sponsored human rights violations. Speaking on behalf of the Baloch people, he demanded global attention, support from India, and international recognition for Balochistan’s freedom movement.
A Call That Echoes Through Resistance
In a powerful message posted on social platform X, Mir Yar Baloch stated the people of Balochistan have delivered their national verdict. He declared independence from Pakistan, urging the world to stop turning a blind eye. “Balochistan is not Pakistan and the world can’t be a silent spectator anymore,” he emphasized.
Baloch citizens, he said, are already out on the streets. According to him, they are fighting for survival and for future generations. Their resistance, he noted, is not just symbolic—it is a full-throated demand for liberation.
Direct Appeal to Indian Citizens and Media
Mir Yar Baloch made a clear appeal to Indians, particularly the patriotic media, content creators, and thought leaders. He urged them to stop referring to Balochs as 'Pakistan’s own people.'
“We are not Pakistani. We are Balochistani,” he asserted. He accused the Pakistani state—particularly the Punjabi establishment—of shielding itself from the suffering Balochs have endured. He highlighted years of aerial bombings, enforced disappearances, and alleged genocide carried out in Balochistan.
Full Support for India's Stand on PoJK
The Baloch leader extended unequivocal support for India's position on Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). In his statement dated May 14, 2025, Mir Yar urged the global community to pressure Pakistan to vacate the region.
“India is capable of defeating Pakistan’s army,” he said, referencing the 1971 surrender of 93,000 Pakistani troops in Dhaka.
He warned that if Pakistan refuses to withdraw, the blame for any future bloodshed would lie solely with what he described as “greedy army generals” in Islamabad. He also accused Pakistan of using PoK citizens as human shields, calling it a violation of basic human rights.
Seeking Recognition of Balochistan's Struggle
Mir Yar Baloch didn’t stop at calling out injustices. He called for formal recognition of Balochistan’s independence and urged both India and other democratic nations to back their cause. He insisted that Pakistan’s narrative on Balochistan is false, claiming the region was forcibly annexed with external support.
According to him, Balochistan was never truly part of Pakistan in spirit or in will.
A Land Torn by Violence and Silence
For decades, Balochistan has faced brutal crackdowns. Activists and civilians have repeatedly reported enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings. Dissent, many say, is crushed before it can grow.
Both Pakistani forces and armed groups have been accused of atrocities. Yet, the region continues to suffer without meaningful global intervention. Media access in Balochistan remains limited. Legal recourse is almost non-existent for victims. While international organizations have raised concerns, real action remains elusive.
A Final Plea to the World
Mir Yar Baloch’s message is loud and clear—Balochistan seeks freedom and recognition. He wants the world to understand their pain and refuse to accept Pakistan’s version of history. His call is for justice, for peace, and for the survival of a people who feel erased from their own land.
As Balochistan continues its fight, one thing is certain—the world is now watching more closely than ever before.
