Beyoncé has officially crossed the billionaire mark, according to Forbes, cementing her status as one of the most powerful figures in global music.
The 44-year-old singer becomes only the fifth musician in history to reach a billion-dollar fortune, joining an elite group that includes Jay-Z, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen and Rihanna.
Her rise to billionaire status follows several years of extraordinary commercial success.
Touring Power Drives the Fortune
A major boost came from her 2023 Renaissance World Tour, which grossed close to $600 million worldwide. It ranked among the highest-earning tours of all time and reaffirmed Beyoncé’s unmatched drawing power on the global stage.
She followed that success by reshaping her musical identity once again.
Reinvention With ‘Cowboy Carter’
In 2024, Beyoncé surprised fans and critics alike with Cowboy Carter, a country-inspired album that went on to win major Grammy awards. The project expanded her artistic reach and strengthened her commercial appeal across new audiences.
That momentum carried into 2025.
Her latest world tour became the highest-grossing tour of the year, further adding to her growing financial empire.
Earnings That Add Up
Forbes estimates that Beyoncé earned around $148 million in 2025 alone, before taxes. That figure placed her as the third highest-paid musician globally for the year.
The publication did not disclose an exact net worth figure but confirmed that her total assets now exceed the billion-dollar threshold.
Music Still at the Core
While Beyoncé has built businesses beyond music, Forbes noted that her wealth remains primarily rooted in her artistic output.
Touring revenue, music sales, and ownership of her master recordings form the foundation of her fortune. Control over her back catalog has played a key role in maintaining long-term value.
A Carefully Built Business Empire
Through her company Parkwood Entertainment, Beyoncé manages her music, films, tours and creative projects. She has also expanded into fashion, hair care and premium spirits, adding diversified income streams without overshadowing her core brand.
Forbes emphasized that unlike many celebrities, Beyoncé’s business success is driven more by sustained creative dominance than endorsement-heavy ventures.
Her billionaire status reflects decades of strategic choices, reinvention, and full ownership of her work—an achievement few artists have matched.
