While Hollywood gathered for the Golden Globes, Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid chose a quieter plan. On Sunday, Jan. 11, the couple stepped out for a relaxed dinner date in Santa Monica, enjoying a calm evening away from flashing cameras and red carpets.
The two arrived at Giorgio Baldi, a popular Italian restaurant known for its low-key charm. The outing marked a change of pace from awards season events, especially since Cooper last attended the Golden Globes in 2024.
Different Styles, Same Mood
Photos from the evening showed the couple holding hands as they entered the restaurant with friends. Their outfits stood out for very different reasons. Cooper, 51, kept things casual in a puffer jacket, jeans, and a Philadelphia Eagles T-shirt. He wore the shirt proudly, even after the team’s loss to the San Francisco 49ers earlier that day.

Hadid, 30, went for a more polished look. She wore a soft sweater, jeans, and brown loafers. She also carried a leather patchwork purse from Miu Miu, valued at $4,900. Despite their opposite styles, the couple appeared relaxed and happy throughout the night.
A Closer Look at Hadid’s New Look
Another detail caught attention during the outing. Hadid recently surprised fans with a jet-black bob hairstyle during a photo shoot. Her hairstylist later confirmed that the dark hair came from a wig. During the Santa Monica dinner, her appearance confirmed that she had returned to her familiar lighter hair colour.
Hadid, who also runs the fashion brand Guest in Residence, has continued to experiment with her style while keeping her public appearances limited.
Shared Time Beyond Dinner
The couple, who have been together since fall 2023, often spend time enjoying simple activities. Before the holidays, they stayed in New York City and attended a matinee showing of the Broadway play Waiting for Godot on Dec. 20. The outing led to a rare photo of them together.
They also share an interest in theatre. In November 2024, the pair attended a performance of Chicago starring Alyssa Milano, who later marked the moment with a photo online.
Cooper Addresses Recent Rumours
The Jan. 11 dinner also marked Cooper’s first public outing since comments he made on the Smartless podcast earlier in the month. During the Jan. 5 episode, co-host Will Arnett brought up long-running rumours about Cooper’s appearance.
“We keep reading everybody thinks that Bradley's had plastic surgery. Everybody keeps saying that. I'm like, 'What people don't know is that he hasn't.' Right?”
Cooper responded by saying, “No, I get people [coming] up to me the last couple weeks. They're like, 'Oh, you look good! Yeah. Yeah, but it's a crazy—.”
Cooper currently stars alongside Arnett in Is This Thing On?, a film he also directed and which now plays in theatres.
