Catherine Zeta-Jones turned heads in a striking all-black outfit before her Wednesday appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark. HELLO!
Catherine Zeta-Jones turned heads in New York on Wednesday as she continued her press tour for the hit series Wednesday. The 55-year-old actress, who plays Morticia Addams, looked flawless while arriving at ABC Studios for an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark.
She wore an all-black outfit by Thom Browne. The look included a fitted ankle-length dress with a corset-style top, pink lacing, and a sharp blazer. She paired it with black stockings and unusual shoes that stole the spotlight.
The bold fashion choice
Her brogues, also by Thom Browne, stood out with curved heels, pointed toes, and a bold rose appliqué. Catherine added oversized sunglasses, sparkling rings, and styled her hair in soft curls flowing down her back. The ensemble echoed Morticia Addams’ dark, dramatic vibe while keeping it modern.
Fans and fashion writers praised her look, reinforcing her reputation as a style icon.
Bringing Morticia to life
Catherine’s performance as Morticia has earned praise since the series debuted. The show follows Wednesday Addams, played by Jenna Ortega, and is directed by Tim Burton. It also stars Luis Guzmán, Fred Armisen, Gwendoline Christie, and Christina Ricci.

The highlight of Catherine’s look was her unique pair of Thom Browne shoes. HELLO!
Speaking about her role, Catherine said she often draws from her own experiences as a mother. “There are many times I’ve been thinking I’m putting an old head on young shoulders when my daughter or my son has done something,” she explained. “Sometimes you have to step back and let them just do that in parenting.”
She compared that to Morticia’s relationship with Wednesday. “There’s a part of Morticia that wants Wednesday to be exactly how she is. There’s a strength to this young woman,” she said.
A close-knit family
The actress, who shares two children with husband Michael Douglas, often speaks about the support she receives from her family. She even brought her son Dylan as her date to the season one premiere of Wednesday in 2022. “My husband Michael is very happy that [Dylan] is my date! A collaboration between the two of us, the gift that keeps on giving,” she said at the time.
Dylan, now 25, graduated from Brown University in 2022 and recently launched a political radio show on SiriusXM. His sister Carys, 22, also graduated from Brown and has pursued film and acting. She describes her mother as her greatest style inspiration. “Fashion has been so important in my life, because my mom is like a fashion icon to me,” she said.
As Catherine continues to dazzle audiences on and off screen, it is clear her role as Morticia Addams only adds to her timeless legacy.
