Chipotle is bringing back its popular Burrito Vault game, offering over $1 million worth of free burritos to celebrate National Burrito Day on April 3. This interactive game allows fans in the U.S. and Canada to win Buy-One-Get-One (BOGO) entrée codes by cracking a secret burrito combination.

Starting today at 9 a.m. ET, Chipotle Rewards members can visit UnlockBurritoDay.com to play. Players must guess the exact burrito order ingredient by ingredient to unlock the vault. The first 2,500 members to crack the code each hour will receive a BOGO code. The game runs from March 31 to April 2, ending at 11:59 p.m. ET.

This year, Chipotle has added an exciting twist. The first person to unlock the vault each hour will win free burritos for a year. Even if all BOGO codes are claimed, players will still get 25 Chipotle Rewards points once during the campaign.

How the Game Works

  • The Burrito Vault game runs from March 31 to April 2.
  • Players get four attempts per hour to guess the correct burrito order.
  • The vault code changes every hour to give more people a chance to win.
  • Each hour, 2,500 winners will receive a BOGO code.
  • The first player to crack the vault each hour will win free burritos for a year.

Fans can start playing by entering their Chipotle Rewards email at UnlockBurritoDay.com.

Chipotle’s Chief Brand Officer, Chris Brandt, said, "Last year, our Burrito Vault drove unprecedented fan engagement that resulted in our highest digital transaction day of all time. Now, we are giving them another chance to crack the code and score more free burritos."

The Burrito Vault, inspired by word puzzles, was played more than two million times last year. Prize codes were claimed in less than 20 minutes. With over one billion possible burrito combinations, Chipotle is making this year’s game even more exciting.

$0 Delivery Fee on National Burrito Day

On April 3, Chipotle is also offering a $0 delivery fee for all Chipotle Rewards members. Customers can use the code DELIVER when ordering through Chipotle.com, Chipotle.ca, or the Chipotle app. The offer applies only to regular orders and does not include catering.
