Marvel fans, rejoice! The Man Without Fear is officially making his grand return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with the much awaited series, Daredevil: Born Again. Disney has unveiled the first trailer for the show, which is set to premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.

This new series marks the official reintroduction of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer by day and masked vigilante by night. Cox reprises his iconic role from the original Daredevil series, which first debuted on Netflix and garnered a dedicated fanbase over its three-season run. Since then, the character has made sporadic appearances in the MCU, including a memorable cameo as Peter Parker’s lawyer in Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021) and a guest role in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law (2022), where he shared screen time—and chemistry—with Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters. Daredevil also made a brief appearance in Echo on Disney+. However, Born Again represents his first full-fledged TV outing under the Marvel Studios banner.

The series promises to delve deeper into the complex lives of its characters. According to the official synopsis, Daredevil: Born Again follows Matt Murdock as he juggles his work as a lawyer with his vigilante mission to bring justice to New York City’s streets. Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin (played by Vincent D’Onofrio), is no longer confined to his criminal empire but is now pursuing ambitious political goals. As both men’s hidden identities resurface, their paths inevitably lead to a high-stakes confrontation.

In addition to Cox and D’Onofrio, the series sees the return of several beloved characters from the original Netflix show. Deborah Ann Woll reprises her role as Karen Page, Elden Henson returns as Foggy Nelson, and Ayelet Zurer steps back into the shoes of Vanessa Marianna. Jon Bernthal is also back as Frank Castle, better known as The Punisher, while Wilson Bethel reprises his role as Benjamin Poindexter, aka Bullseye. The cast is rounded out by newcomers Michael Gandolfini, Margarita Levieva, and Jeremy Earl, adding fresh faces to the MCU’s gritty corner.

Behind the scenes, the series boasts an impressive lineup of talent. Showrunner Dario Scardapane leads the creative team as an executive producer, alongside Marvel Studios heavyweights Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Brad Winderbaum. Additional executive producers include Sana Amanat, Chris Gary, Christopher Ord, and Matthew Corman. The episodes are helmed by a skilled team of directors, including Michael Cuesta, Jeffrey Nachmanoff, David Boyd, and the duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.

As the trailer hints at darker tones and intense drama, Daredevil: Born Again is poised to be a thrilling addition to the MCU. Fans can mark their calendars for March 2025, as the series promises to deliver the high-stakes action and character-driven storytelling that made the original show a standout hit.
