Demi Moore made a striking appearance at Milan Fashion Week 2025, showing off a dramatic hairstyle and standout fashion sense. The 62-year-old actress revealed bold new bangs while starring in The Tiger, a short film created by Gucci.
The film, directed by Spike Jonze and Halina Reijn, features Moore as Barbara Gucci, a fictional head of Gucci International and the Chair of California. In the role, she plays a strong family matriarch, gathering her children to celebrate her birthday in a luxurious setting.
A Star-Studded Short Film
The Tiger replaced Gucci’s traditional runway show this season. The short film premiered in Milan on Tuesday night and included a cast of high-profile stars. Alongside Moore were Kendall Jenner, Keke Palmer, Ed Norton, Elliot Page, Ed Harris, and more.
Director Demna, now Gucci’s creative lead and former designer at Balenciaga, released the film alongside a lookbook of the new collection. He described the project as a way to tell the story of Gucci through an imagined family.
“I shaped the collection by imagining a constellation of characters,” Demna said. “Each figure holds a part of the story. Since my first runway show is set for February, I wanted to introduce the theme through film.”
Moore’s Fashion Makes a Statement
Moore wore the same gold and burnt-orange Gucci gown from the film to the premiere. The dress featured a glittering crystal fringe and a small train. It was fitted and elegant, drawing attention for both its design and how well Moore wore it.

The actress posed confidently on the red carpet, joining stars like Gwyneth Paltrow and Lila Moss at the event. Speaking about the project, Moore said,
“The movie weaves fashion and cinema together in such an intriguing way.”
Hair Icon Who Breaks the Rules
Moore’s bold new bangs marked yet another daring hair moment in her long career. She has never been afraid of dramatic cuts. In the 1990 film Ghost, she wore a pixie cut. For G.I. Jane in 1997, she shaved her head completely.
In past interviews, Moore has said she prefers to leave her hair alone when she’s not filming.
“If I don’t need to style it, I don’t,” she once explained.
“It’s stressful even having someone touch it.”
She’s also spoken out against the idea that older women shouldn’t wear long hair.
“If it can grow and it’s healthy, why not?” she said.
“I don’t follow rules that don’t make sense.”
A Fresh Look for a New Era
Moore’s role in The Tiger not only showcases her acting talent but also reminds the fashion world of her ability to evolve with style and grace. From buzz cuts to flowing locks, she continues to push boundaries.
At 62, Demi Moore proves that style, confidence, and self-expression have no age limit.
