DJI has unveiled its latest innovation, the Flip drone, a compact and user-friendly device designed for both beginners and seasoned drone enthusiasts. Priced at $439, this drone blends the simplicity of the DJI Neo with the high-quality imaging of the DJI Mini, delivering excellent performance and safety features in a lightweight package.
Compact Design and Safety Features
The DJI Flip introduces a unique downward-folding mechanism that secures its large, shrouded propellers, making it safer for users. Built with a carbon fibre structure, it’s both strong and lightweight, weighing under 249 grams. This design allows users in most countries to fly it without needing a permit.
