Dua Lipa gave the classic pinstripe look a bold update. During a night out in Auckland, she wore a daring outfit that turned the old-school banker look into something fresh and fun. She stepped out to celebrate the final leg of her Radical Optimism tour.
The outfit came from Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s Autumn/Winter 2025 collection, called L’Entretien. She was the first person to wear this design outside the runway. The designer's brand confirmed the news on their social media page.
Her look was styled by Raeann Hayden. It featured a halterneck bra top with sharp tailoring and eyelet lacing. The top had a deep neckline and corset-like details, making the outfit look more like something from a stylish night out than an office meeting. It was modern, daring, and very much Dua’s style.

She matched the top with a fitted, high-waisted skirt. The skirt hugged her curves and had a lace-up design running down the front. This twist on the usual suit skirt made it feel both elegant and edgy.
Dua’s hair was slicked back into soft waves. Her makeup had a light lavender shimmer. She wore silver rings and her usual tattoos added her signature touch to the look. The full outfit was bold, stylish, and unforgettable.
A side photo of her shows her in front of metal kegs and a chain-link fence. The contrast between the industrial setting and her polished look made the picture stand out.
Historically, pinstripes were used to identify employees at London banks. That’s why they became a symbol of businesswear. But Dua flipped that idea. Instead of wearing pinstripes to blend in, she used them to shine. Fashion writer Clare Pennington mentioned that pinstripes even appear in The Canterbury Tales—showing how far back the pattern goes.
