Starbucks brings a bold new flavour to its winter menu this January. The chain now offers two drinks inspired by the viral Dubai Chocolate trend. The Iced Dubai Chocolate Mocha and the Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha arrive in stores on January 6. Both drinks feature rich flavours and playful cold foams that follow last year’s popular custom orders.
The mocha comes topped with pistachio cold foam, while the matcha arrives with chocolate cold foam. Starbucks says fans started ordering their own versions last winter, which pushed the company to add official recipes this season.
More Protein Drinks Join the Lineup
Starbucks continues to expand its high-protein options. Two new drinks arrive in January: the Caramel Protein Matcha and the Caramel Protein Latte. These drinks follow the launch of protein-enriched cold foams and lattes in September, which sparked lively online conversations.
The company also hints at a possible partnership with Khloud Popcorn, a protein snack linked to Khloé Kardashian. That collaboration remains unconfirmed, but many customers expect more high-protein pairings soon.
Pistachio Favourites Return
The winter menu also brings back several fan favourites. The Pistachio Latte returns again this season. Customers can also enjoy the Pistachio Cortado and Pistachio Cream Cold Brew, both available on January 6. Starbucks adds a sugar-free caramel syrup to the menu permanently, giving customers more choice for lighter drinks.
New Food for Winter Mornings
Starbucks introduces new breakfast options as part of the winter launch. The Turkey Bacon, Cheddar, and Egg White Sandwich now includes cherrywood-smoked turkey bacon and sharper cheddar. A new Truffle, Mushroom, and Brie Egg Bite joins the menu as a rich and savoury option. The Valentine Cake Pop also returns in time for early winter celebrations.
Company leaders say the chain sees strong momentum heading into 2026. Starbucks reports that the holiday menu launch in November brought the “biggest sales day ever in North America,” according to CEO Brian Niccol.
Dubai Chocolate Frenzy Continues
The Dubai Chocolate craze spreads far beyond Starbucks. Hershey’s released a limited pistachio and kadayif-stuffed chocolate bar earlier this week. The company produced only 10,000 bars at $9 each, echoing the original dessert’s early scarcity. Shoppers also spotted the viral Dubai-Style Pistachio Bar back in stock at Trader Joe’s.
The trend continues to evolve, and many wonder how long Dubai-style chocolate will stay at the top of the dessert world. More versions are expected through 2026.
