The Edmonton Police Service announced at 3:19 p.m. that 111 Avenue was closed from 184 Street to the Anthony Henday. Commuters are being advised to find alternate routes to avoid the area.
Firefighters Struggle to Contain Blaze
The fire continues to burn, and the situation remains tense. At 6:21 p.m., police confirmed that the fire was still active, and the road closures remained in effect.
