Newly released documents from Congressional Democrats connect billionaire Elon Musk and Prince Andrew to Jeffrey Epstein, the late convicted sex offender. The files include flight manifests and message logs, shedding light on their ties to Epstein, who died in 2019 while facing sex trafficking charges.
Musk’s Island Invitation
The records, provided by Epstein’s estate to the House Oversight Committee, suggest Elon Musk received an invitation to Epstein’s private island in December 2014. One message dated December 6 reads, “Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?).”
Musk has confirmed Epstein invited him but said he declined the visit. Musk and Prince Andrew have been asked to comment on the new documents.
Prince Andrew’s Flight Log
Prince Andrew appears on a flight manifest from May 12, 2000. The flight went from Teterboro, New Jersey, to West Palm Beach, Florida, along with Epstein and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell. Maxwell was convicted in 2021 of helping Epstein traffic girls for sex.
At the time, Buckingham Palace said Prince Andrew had traveled to New York for a charity reception from May 11 to May 15, but did not mention the Florida flight. He has denied any wrongdoing linked to Epstein.
Other Prominent Names
The released documents mention other well-known figures, including internet entrepreneur Peter Thiel and Steve Bannon, former advisor to Donald Trump. There’s a note about a planned lunch with Thiel in November 2017 and a breakfast meeting with Bannon in February 2019.

Prince Andrew has said before that he did nothing wrong in his connection with Epstein. EPA
The files also mention tentative plans for a breakfast with Microsoft founder Bill Gates in December 2014. Gates later called his meeting with Epstein a “mistake.”
What the Files Reveal
The partial documents are the third batch released by the Epstein Estate. They contain phone message logs, flight logs, financial records, and Epstein’s daily schedule.
The files do not suggest that the people named knew about Epstein’s criminal activities.
Background on Epstein
Jeffrey Epstein was arrested in 2019 for sex trafficking charges involving underage girls. He had previously avoided major jail time through a plea deal in 2008 after accusations from a 14-year-old victim in Florida.
Epstein died by suicide in a New York jail while awaiting trial in 2019.
Calls for Transparency
Sara Guerrero, spokesperson for the House Democrats, called for more documents to be released. “It should be clear to every American that Jeffrey Epstein was friends with some of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world. Every new document produced provides new information as we work to bring justice for the survivors and victims.”
Republicans on the committee accused Democrats of using the case for political gain but promised to release the full document set soon.
