In Tel Aviv, an explosion near the US Embassy branch office early Friday morning has left one person dead and at least eight others injured. Israeli authorities are investigating the incident as a potential drone attack. The blast occurred in a central district known for housing several diplomatic missions, causing shrapnel injuries to four individuals, according to Israel’s Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency service.
The explosion, located approximately 100 meters from the US Embassy branch office compound, has raised concerns and prompted swift responses from both Israeli and US officials. While the building itself does not appear to have sustained damage, investigators are examining the possibility of an aerial attack, potentially involving a drone, as reported by the Israel Defense Forces.

Emergency personnel swiftly responded to the scene on Shalom Aleichem Street, where the explosion occurred. MDA paramedics described the scene as chaotic, with one fatality due to severe injuries sustained from the blast. Authorities have cautioned local residents against handling any debris that could pose an explosive threat, urging vigilance and cooperation as investigations continue.
