As summer heats up, food and beverage companies are rolling out exciting new drinks to help people cool off and enjoy the season.
In Los Angeles, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has introduced a range of limited-time drinks created in partnership with Tokidoki, a popular lifestyle brand. This new lineup features unique beverages inspired by Tokidoki’s whimsical characters. Among the options are Chocotella, a dark chocolate and hazelnut drink topped with chocolate whipped cream, sprinkles, and a dark chocolate drizzle; Strawberry Milk, which combines whole milk with strawberry and is finished with a strawberry syrup and cream topping; and Boba Bob, an iced chai latte with brown sugar boba, a creamy cap, and a caramel drizzle. These limited-edition drinks are available in stores until August 20. Lisa Ransom, the global chief marketing officer of The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, expressed excitement about the new flavours, emphasizing the creative collaboration with Tokidoki.

Tim Hortons is also refreshing its summer menu with three new drinks. Available at participating locations across the country, these new options include the Cocoa Caramel Crunch Iced Capp, a frozen coffee blend with roasted pecan and vanilla flavours, topped with cocoa caramel crunch bites; Butter Pecan Cold Brew, featuring the brand’s cold brew with butter pecan-flavoured cold foam and cocoa caramel crunch bites; and Mango Lemonade, a mix of mango puree and Tim Horton's lemonade, available as either a frozen or iced drink.

Convenience store chain 7-Eleven is joining the summer beverage trend with a pumpkin spice twist. The company has introduced a pumpkin spice cold brew and is bringing back its popular pumpkin spice coffee and lattes. Additionally, for a limited time, 7-Eleven is offering a pumpkin spice-flavoured Slurpee at select locations across the U.S. Dennis Phelps, senior vice president of merchandising at 7-Eleven, noted that the company’s customers love pumpkin spice and are excited to offer these seasonal drinks earlier in the year.

These new drink offerings from various brands highlight the creativity and seasonal flair that food service operators are bringing to summer beverages, aiming to provide refreshing and enjoyable options for all tastes.
