Introducing the GEEKOM A8, a cutting-edge Mini PC empowered by AI and driven by the AMD Ryzen 8040 HawkPoint processor, now available on the market. This Mini PC boasts a sleek metal casing featuring rounded corners and an anodized matte finish. Despite its compact size, smaller than the palm of a hand, the A8 Mini PC seamlessly adapts to various desktop configurations.

The GEEKOM A8 comes in two variants, offering users the choice between two processors from the AMD HawkPoint family: the Ryzen 7 8845HS and the Ryzen 9 8945HS. Both chips feature a quad-core Zen 8 CPU architecture, 16 threads, 16 MB L3 cache, an integrated AMD Radeon 780M GPU, and a Ryzen AI neural processing unit. However, the Ryzen 9 8945HS boasts slightly higher performance due to its increased CPU and GPU frequencies.

Equipped with an enhanced neural processing unit, the A8 Mini PC can handle 60% more AI-related tasks compared to mini PCs powered by Ryzen's previous-generation 7040 chips, marking a significant advancement in AI-based computing. For everyday users, the A8 Mini PC offers quick access to information, effortlessly transforming text into images and videos. For professionals, the A8 Mini PC streamlines tasks such as note summarization, call transcription, and automated meeting minute generation. Additionally, professional content creators benefit from faster AI-powered photo editing, quicker video rendering, and improved multitasking capabilities, facilitating the realization of ambitious projects. The A8 Mini PC remains cool and stable even during heavy workloads, thanks to its new IceBlast 1.5 cooling technology.

In addition to its impressive performance, the A8 Mini PC boasts a wide array of ports, including four USB-A ports (including three USB3.2 Gen2 ports), two HDMI2.0 ports, one 40Gbps USB4 port, a multifunction Type-C port, an SDXC slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Users can connect external graphics processors, ultra-fast portable storage devices, or up to four 4K displays to the Mini PC, enhancing versatility and productivity.

The GEEKOM A8 is now available for purchase on Amazon and GEEKOM's official website. The pricing for the 8845HS and 8945HS versions is $749 and $899, respectively. Regardless of the CPU option selected, each unit comes equipped with 32GB DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM dual-channel RAM, a speedy 1TB M.2 2280 PCIe4.0x4 SSD, a wireless card supporting Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, and a licensed copy of the Windows 11 operating system.
