Teresa Resch, after over ten years with the Toronto Raptors, has embarked on a new venture with Kilmer Sports Ventures, helming the organization's latest project: bringing a WNBA team to Toronto. Resch's transition from the Raptors to this endeavor marks a significant shift in her career trajectory.

Hailing from Lakefield, Minnesota, Resch brings a wealth of experience and a unique perspective to her new position. She spent her formative years playing Division II volleyball at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, before embarking on her professional journey.

Resch's tenure with the Raptors began in 2013, where she made history as one of the first female front-office executives in professional sports. In her role as vice-president of basketball operations, she spearheaded various initiatives, including the development of the OVO Athletic Centre and the launch of the Raptors 905 G-League affiliate.

Her contributions extended beyond the basketball court, as she played a pivotal role in the team's temporary relocation to Tampa during the 2020-21 season. Resch's leadership and vision earned her praise from colleagues and stakeholders alike, including Raptors president Masai Ujiri, who lauded her unwavering dedication and track record of success.

Before joining the Raptors, Resch worked for the NBA's international basketball operations department, where she contributed to initiatives such as the Basketball Without Borders program.
