The Golden Globes are set to make a dazzling comeback this Sunday, promising a night brimming with Hollywood’s brightest stars. This year's nominations feature industry heavyweights such as Zendaya, Timothée Chalamet, Angelina Jolie, Daniel Craig, Denzel Washington, Ariana Grande, and many more. The 82nd edition of the prestigious awards will air on CBS and stream live on Paramount+.

A New Face at the Helm: Nikki Glaser to Host
Comedian and actor Nikki Glaser will take center stage as the host of the ceremony. Known for her razor-sharp humor, Glaser has captivated audiences at roasts, including a memorable takedown of Tom Brady. Her Emmy-nominated special Someday You’ll Die showcased her fearless comedic style. Inspired by past hosts like Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, and Ricky Gervais, Glaser steps in following last year’s hosting stint by Jo Koy, which faced mixed reviews.

Top Nominees: Films and Stars in the Spotlight
Leading this year’s nominations is Jacques Audiard’s bold musical Emilia Pérez, with a record 10 nods. Other major contenders include Wicked, the suspenseful Conclave, and the historical drama The Brutalist. Meanwhile, The Apprentice, a biographical film about a young Donald Trump, earned recognition for performances by Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong.

Television also shines brightly, with The Bear earning five nominations. Among notable milestones, Denzel Washington has become the most-nominated Black performer in Golden Globes history with his 11th nod. Meanwhile, Steve Martin secures his fourth consecutive nomination for Only Murders in the Building, marking his ninth overall.

First-time nominees include Ariana Grande, Dakota Fanning, and Pamela Anderson, who surprised many with her nomination for The Last Showgirl.

Presenters and Honorees
The presenter lineup features an impressive array of talent, including Andrew Garfield, Mindy Kaling, Viola Davis, and Nicolas Cage. Viola Davis will also be honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award, recognizing her illustrious career that includes standout performances in Fences, The Woman King, and How to Get Away with Murder.

Ted Danson, celebrated for his iconic role in Cheers and recent work in The Good Place, will receive the Carol Burnett Award for his outstanding contributions to television. Both Davis and Danson will be celebrated at a gala dinner preceding the main event.

A Night of Glamour and Indulgence
Known for its lavish atmosphere, the Globes will once again feature cuisine by the renowned Nobu Matsuhisa. The menu includes signature dishes like the Gold Standard Roll, sushi adorned with gold flakes, caviar, and a tangy yuzu sauce. Guests will also savor seaweed tacos, yellowtail jalapeños, and black cod, ensuring a feast as memorable as the awards themselves.
