Halsey reveals illness, announces new album and shares new song 'The End' | Google

Halsey shared a personal struggle with illness in a series of Instagram videos on Tuesday. In the videos, she appears to be undergoing medical treatments, hinting at the severity of her condition.

In the accompanying caption, she expressed gratitude for being alive despite facing health challenges. She hinted at the journey she had been through, culminating in the creation of a new album.

Although she didn't disclose a specific diagnosis, her videos hinted at physical discomfort and the toll it has taken on her. In one video, she expressed her desire for a healthier future, envisioning a vibrant and energetic life beyond her current struggles.

Alongside her personal revelation, Halsey surprised fans with the release of a new song titled "The End." The track, a heartfelt acoustic ballad, marks a departure from her previous work.

This forthcoming album follows her ambitious fourth studio album, "If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power," released in 2021. Notably produced by Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, the album showcased Halsey's evolution as an artist.

In conjunction with the release of "The End," Halsey announced donations to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Lupus Research Alliance, aligning with her own health struggles and demonstrating her commitment to supporting others facing similar challenges.
