Some of the Teammates of the Bengals are in action in the game.

Joe Burrow made a triumphant return on Thanksgiving night, delivering a performance that reignited the Cincinnati Bengals’ struggling season. After missing nine games due to a turf-toe injury, the star quarterback guided the Bengals to a shocking 32-14 victory over the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.

The unexpected win snapped the Ravens’ five-game streak and lifted Cincinnati to 4-8, giving the team a much-needed boost after a difficult year.

Burrow’s Comeback Powers a Bengals Revival

The Bengals entered the game desperate for momentum after losing eight of their last nine contests without Burrow. His return transformed their offense instantly. Burrow threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns, showing no signs of rust in one of the season’s most surprising upsets.

The Bengals also forced five turnovers, overwhelming the Ravens’ offense and silencing the Baltimore crowd on a national holiday broadcast.

In true Thanksgiving spirit, the team celebrated the victory on the field with turkey legs, Maryland crabs, and Cincinnati Chili, turning the night into an unexpected festive feast.

First-Half Struggles and Defensive Brilliance

Despite a strong defensive start, the Bengals struggled early to convert opportunities into touchdowns. They forced three Ravens turnovers in the first half, including a highlight goal-line hustle play where Jordan Battle knocked the ball loose just before a Ravens touchdown.

But Cincinnati couldn’t punch the ball in. Instead, kicker Evan McPherson connected on four field goals, giving the Bengals a narrow 12-7 halftime lead.

The Ravens briefly looked dangerous when Lamar Jackson led a drive capped by a 28-yard touchdown run from Derrick Henry, but their momentum quickly faded.

Bengals Offense Explodes After Halftime

The tide shifted dramatically once the second half began. Burrow engineered a 10-play, 61-yard drive, finishing it with a stunning 14-yard touchdown pass to Tanner Hudson, who secured the ball with a spectacular one-handed grab.

Baltimore answered with an 18-yard rushing touchdown from Keaton Mitchell, tightening the score again. But Burrow responded with one of his best throws of the season — a deep 29-yard strike to Andrei Iosivas with just 15 seconds left in the third quarter, extending the lead to 26-14.

Turnovers Doom the Ravens

The fourth quarter unraveled quickly for Baltimore. Lamar Jackson saw a pass tipped for an interception, and Zay Flowers fumbled after a hard hit. Both giveaways set up two more Bengals field goals, pushing the score to 32-14.

Jackson ended the night with 246 passing yards, an interception, and two lost fumbles. Notably, the former MVP has not scored a touchdown in three straight games, a worrying trend for a Ravens team seeking postseason stability.

His early spark — including a reversed 44-yard touchdown to Isaiah Likely due to a goal-line fumble — vanished as pressure mounted. Baltimore’s offensive miscues were ultimately too costly to recover from.

What the Loss Means for Baltimore

The defeat drops the Ravens to 6-6, placing them just behind the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-5) in the AFC North standings. Baltimore now faces critical games ahead, including a December 7 showdown with Pittsburgh that could shape the division race.
