Krispy Kreme has partnered with Hulu to create a new doughnut collection inspired by popular movie theater snacks. The collaboration, called the "Krispy Kreme x Hulu: Movie Snacks Doughnuts Collection," brings the fun of movie treats to your home, offering four unique doughnut flavors based on favorite snacks from the theater.
This special collection will be available for a limited time starting Monday, February 17, and it aims to bring the taste of movie snacks right to your home. The flavors are designed to pair perfectly with streaming your favorite films, offering sweet treats that mimic the flavor of theater favorites like popcorn and slushies.
The collection includes four delicious doughnuts:
- Blue Raspberry Slush Doughnut: This doughnut is dipped in blue raspberry-flavored icing and covered in blue sanding sugar, giving it a sweet and tangy flavor that mimics a refreshing slushie.
- Caramel Popcorn Doughnut: An unglazed shell filled with caramel popcorn-flavored Kreme filling. It's then dipped in white icing and topped with caramel popcorn and red icing drizzles for a sweet and salty treat.
- Cookie Dough Superstar Doughnut: This doughnut is filled with chocolate buttercream-flavored filling and dipped in chocolate-flavored icing. It’s topped with gold glitter sprinkles and cookie dough bites for an extra indulgent experience.
- Candy Double Feature Doughnut: The Original Glazed doughnut gets a makeover with a dip in white icing. It's topped with milk chocolate candy pieces, mini chocolate chips, and drizzled with chocolate-flavored icing for a candy lover’s dream.
Dave Skena, the chief growth officer at Krispy Kreme, expressed excitement about the collaboration. "This first-ever collaboration with Hulu lets our fans enjoy their favorite movie snack flavors with their favorite doughnut while streaming their favorite movie," he said. "That’s a good night!"
These special doughnuts are available in stores and for pickup or delivery through the Krispy Kreme app and website. Customers can buy them individually or in a dozen. The doughnuts will also be available in a Krispy Kreme 6-pack box, delivered fresh daily to select retailers.
