This holiday season, Krispy Kreme is bringing the festive spirit of Dr. Seuss' "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!" to life with a new doughnut collection, sure to delight both Christmas fans and those who love the classic holiday story. Starting Friday, November 29, Krispy Kreme will introduce the Merry Grinchmas Doughnut Collection, which will be available for a limited time.
The collection features three brand-new doughnuts, each inspired by characters from the beloved Dr. Seuss book. The new offerings include the Grinch Doughnut, the Grinchy Claus Doughnut, and the Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Doughnut. Alongside these new creations, two popular doughnuts return the Santa Belly Doughnut and the Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut.
The Grinch Doughnut is an unglazed doughnut filled with a "coal" Cookies & Kreme filling. It is dipped in vibrant Grinch green icing and features a chocolate icing grin, topped off with a touch of buttercream to represent the Grinch’s distinctive hair.
Next is the Grinchy Claus Doughnut, which is made with the Original Glazed doughnut, dipped in smooth chocolate icing, and decorated with white buttercream, Christmas crispies, and a Grinch piece, giving it a playful holiday touch.
For a more festive flavor, there’s the Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Doughnut. This doughnut starts with the Original Glazed doughnut, dipped in strawberry-flavored icing, and topped with a green buttercream Christmas tree, complete with sprinkles and a star piece to finish off the holiday look.

Returning this year are the Santa Belly Doughnut and the Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut. The Santa Belly Doughnut is an unglazed treat filled with creamy white filling, covered in red icing, and decorated with a black chocolate belt and a belt buckle, making it a festive favorite. The Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut features an Original Glazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and covered with colorful, festive sprinkles, bringing a cheerful vibe to any holiday gathering.
These special doughnuts will be packaged in a limited-edition custom Grinch dozen box, making them the perfect gift or party treat for the holiday season. Customers can also purchase a Krispy Kreme dozen or six-pack featuring a mix of the new Grinch Doughnut, Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Doughnut, Santa Belly Doughnut, and Holiday Sprinkle Doughnut, available fresh daily at select grocery stores.
In a statement, Krispy Kreme’s Global Chief Brand Officer, Dave Skena, shared his excitement about the collection. “Who wants to celebrate Christmas with Krispy Kreme?! Our Merry Grinchmas doughnuts are guaranteed to make even the Grinchiest Grinch smile,” he said.
To continue spreading holiday cheer, Krispy Kreme is also bringing back its popular “Day of the Dozens.” On December 12, customers can get a dozen Original Glazed doughnuts for just $1 when they buy any dozen at full price, whether in-store, at the drive-thru, or online for pick-up or delivery.
