Manchester City clinched their fourth consecutive Premier League title, marking their sixth win in seven seasons, highlighting their enduring dominance.

This victory adds to manager Pep Guardiola’s impressive tally, bringing his total to 17 trophies in eight years with the club, which could become 18 if they win the FA Cup against Manchester United next week.

City is the first team to be crowned champion of English soccer’s top division four years in a row after holding off the challenge of second-place Arsenal, which beat Everton 2-1.

Since Guardiola's first Premier League title win in 2018, only Liverpool in 2020 has managed to interrupt City’s reign in England's top flight. Under Guardiola, City secured consecutive titles in 2018 and 2019 with record points totals of 100 and 98.

After Liverpool's 2020 triumph, City reclaimed the title in 2021 and has maintained its supremacy, becoming the first English team to win four straight top-flight titles.

Last season was particularly remarkable for City as they clinched the treble, winning the Premier League, Champions League, and FA Cup. During this period of success, they also won three League Cups and reached the Champions League final in 2021.
