Margot Robbie brought high glamour to New York City on Monday night at the premiere of her latest film A Big Bold Beautiful Journey. The actress turned heads in a daring black-and-white gown that showed off her flawless figure. The dress featured a plunging neckline, thigh-high slits on both sides, and a flowing black train with a white panel beneath.
The dramatic outfit highlighted her strappy black heels as she walked the carpet. Robbie, who welcomed her first child in October 2024 with husband Tom Ackerley, glowed as she posed for photographers.

To complete her look, the Barbie star wore a Lorraine Schwartz gold bangle set with a diamond at its centre, paired with matching earrings and rings. She styled her hair in an elegant updo and chose a bold lip shade to tie the ensemble together.

The 35-year-old actress has developed a reputation for bold red-carpet choices. During the Barbie press tour in 2023, she delighted fans by recreating famous Barbie outfits straight from the archives. Speaking about the film, she told Stellar magazine that the project had achieved everything she dreamed of.
“I’ve realized the thing that I get the most satisfaction from in life is things or people reaching their full potential,” she said. “And Barbie was a movie that reached its full potential. Like, everything I wanted for it happened, you know? There’s nothing more satisfying than that.”
Inspired to Return to Acting

Balancing Motherhood and Career
Although she has embraced motherhood, Robbie admitted it’s hard to describe life with a newborn. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she said: “If you try to explain to someone who has kids, you don’t need to, ’cause they get it. And if they don’t, it’s probably just really boring to hear, so you’re just kind of like, ‘It’s the best.’”
Farrell, who has two children, echoed her thoughts. “It’s meant everything to me. Yet, I don’t want to put that they’re everything to me on [my kids] – but they are the most important facet of my life,” he said.
