Megan Thee Stallion

Megan Thee Stallion appears to have directly addressed her recent rift with Nicki Minaj in her latest album "Megan," notably on the track titled "Rattle." This song seems to be Megan's response to Minaj's actions, with subtle digs aimed at her former ally. She starts off strong, asserting, “Ain’t got no tea on me, this hoe think she TMZ,” suggesting she's unfazed by rumors or gossip about her. The tension between them escalated earlier this year when Megan dropped “Hiss,” the opening track of her new album, where she took a clear shot at Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, who has a criminal history related to sexual assault.

Minaj swiftly fired back with “Big Foot,” poking fun at an incident where Megan was involved in an altercation with Tory Lanez, who is currently incarcerated. On “Rattle,” Megan appears to reflect on the aftermath of their feud, including Minaj's recent stage appearances with other artists. She expresses a sense of betrayal, rapping lines like, “I wanted everybody right here with me, but it was my fault being too friendly,” highlighting her disappointment in trusting those who ultimately turned against her.

The track also references their past collaborations, notably “Hot Girl Summer” from 2019, where Megan seems to dismiss any lingering connection. “Damn bitch it been four years / Worry ’bout your man and your kid,” she raps, suggesting Minaj should focus on her personal life instead of dwelling on their past interactions. Megan's album "Megan" is a significant milestone for her career, as it marks her departure from previous record labels like 300 Entertainment and 1501 Certified. She now operates under her own label, Hot Girl Productions, demonstrating her independence and creative control.

The album features collaborations with prominent artists such as UGK, Victoria Monét, and GloRilla, showcasing Megan's versatility and evolving musical style. Tracks like “Hiss,” “Boa,” and “Cobra” have garnered attention for their bold lyrics and infectious beats, solidifying Megan Thee Stallion's position as a powerhouse in the hip-hop industry.
