Meghan Trainor turned heads on August 27 at the premiere of The Paper, a new spinoff of The Office. The “All About That Bass” singer wore a plunging black-and-white romper, paired with sleek sling-back kitten heels. She styled her hair in an elegant updo, adding a polished touch to her look.
Though more understated than her usual colourful outfits, Trainor’s style still included a playful bow detail at the waistline. The feminine accent echoed the bright pink mini-dress she wore in May, which featured a dramatic bow at the bust.
Speaking Out on Body Confidence
Earlier this year, Trainor faced a wave of online criticism about her appearance at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music event. In March, she addressed the comments directly.
“No, I don’t look like I did 10 years ago,” she wrote. “I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me. I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy. And I’m so glad I did because I feel great.”

Openness About Cosmetic Surgery
That same month, Trainor revealed she had undergone a breast lift and augmentation. In a partnership post, she described her Motiva USA implants as “the boobs of my dreams.” She also told People she was looking forward to buying clothes that made her feel confident after years of wearing oversized sweatshirts.
“I have never been more comfortable in my body,” Trainor shared. “Maybe it’s because I’m in my 30s now and I’m better. I’ve been working with a therapist for a long time, trying to rewire my brain to love myself more. It’s always something like a work in progress, and that’s why I write all these anthemic songs of, ‘I love myself,’ because it’s constantly a thing I’m working on and I notice my fans are also working on that. So that’s how we connect.”
Confidence and Connection with Fans
Her openness about health, therapy, and body image has resonated with fans who share similar struggles. Trainor’s honesty has shaped her music and her public image, balancing glamour on the red carpet with real conversations about self-acceptance.
As she continues her style transformation, Trainor blends playful fashion with a powerful message of confidence. Whether through bold outfits or candid interviews, she embraces her journey while encouraging others to do the same.
