M&M's is about to bring a nostalgic twist to its candy lineup with the introduction of a Peanut Butter & Jelly flavour. The announcement came from Mars, the company behind the beloved chocolate treats, and fans are buzzing with excitement.
Set to hit the market in December 2024, this new flavour captures the essence of a classic PB&J sandwich. M&M's will maintain its signature mini size, featuring a burst of berry flavour encasing a smooth peanut butter center. The combination aims to recreate the comforting taste of a traditional peanut butter and jelly sandwich, making it a delightful snack for all ages.

Gabrielle Wesley, the chief marketing officer for Mars Wrigley North America, expressed the brand's enthusiasm about this new addition. “Peanut butter M&M’s have always been a popular flavour with our fans, so we’re excited to double down on their excitement — with a twist,” she said. She emphasized that the Peanut Butter & Jelly flavour taps into a timeless favourite, transforming a beloved snack into a fun, bite-sized treat perfect for sharing.

This new flavour joins M&M's extensive range of peanut butter options, including classic Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter Minis, and Peanut Butter Mega. The brand has been keen on exploring different flavours, keeping its offerings fresh and exciting for candy lovers.

You can buy the new flavour on MMS.com starting in December 2024. It will be available in three sizes: single, share, and larger stand-up pouches for sharing. Food and Wine

M&M's is more than stopping at the new PB&J flavour. Earlier this year, the company launched a Milk Chocolate Pumpkin Pie flavour, which combines warm autumn spices like ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, and allspice with a milk chocolate shell. This seasonal flavour was introduced in May, strategically timed to cater to consumers who plan for the fall festivities well in advance. Tim LeBel, the chief Halloween officer at Mars Wrigley, mentioned, “At Mars, we celebrate Halloween every day, all year long.” He highlighted the company’s focus on delivering innovative seasonal products that appeal to consumers.

The Peanut Butter & Jelly flavour will be available in several sizes to cater to different preferences. Consumers can choose from a Single Size (1.63 oz.), Share Size (2.83 oz.), and larger Sharing Size Stand-Up Pouches (8.6 oz.). You can look for these new treats at retailers nationwide or purchase them directly from MMS.com.

M&M's continues to innovate while honouring beloved flavours and snacks that many grew up enjoying. The new Peanut Butter & Jelly flavour promises to be a sweet addition that brings back fond memories, allowing fans to indulge in a childhood favourite in a new and exciting way.
