Ozzy Osbourne, the Prince of Darkness, has taken his final bow—and he did it in unforgettable style. On Saturday, July 5, 2025, 40,000 fans packed England’s Villa Park to witness the heavy metal legend perform live for the last time.At 76, Ozzy sat on a gothic, bat-adorned throne—fitting for a farewell that felt both grand and deeply emotional. It was a homecoming and a goodbye rolled into one roaring night.

Let the Madness Begin! — Ozzy Osbourne’s Last Bow Shout out
The show began with Ozzy’s signature shout: “Let the madness begin!” It was less a request and more a promise. Despite being diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019 and struggling with mobility ever since, Osbourne powered through the set with raw energy and gratitude.
“I’ve been laid up for like six years. You have no idea how I feel—thank you from the bottom of my heart,” he told the crowd. “You’re all special.”

Back to the Beginning
This wasn’t just any show. Ozzy reunited with his legendary Black Sabbath bandmates—Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward—for the first time in two decades. Together, they delivered a brief but blistering set that included “War Pigs,” “Iron Man,” and a thunderous finale with “Paranoid.”
It marked the group’s first full performance together since their 2017 farewell tour ended—also in Birmingham, the city where it all began.
A Festival for the Ages
The concert wasn’t a solo affair. It was the high point of a full-blown metal festival featuring performances from Metallica, Anthrax, and Guns N’ Roses. Messages of love poured in from stars like Jack Black, Dolly Parton, and Elton John.
A video montage of Ozzy’s wildest stage moments played on screens as fans relived decades of chaos, charisma, and crushing riffs.
Family, Legacy, and Final Words
Ozzy’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne, shared candid behind-the-scenes moments on social media, including snaps with artist YUNGBLUD. The night felt like a family reunion—for both blood relatives and the global metal community.

Though Ozzy had reunited briefly with guitarist Tony Iommi during the 2022 Commonwealth Games, this was the true finale fans had long awaited.
Fighting for One Last Show
Ozzy recently spoke on his SiriusXM show Ozzy Speaks about his determination to make this final show happen. “By hook or by crook, I’m gonna make it there,” he said. “I’m giving it everything I’ve got.”
His trainer worked intensively with him to regain strength. Ozzy admitted it wasn’t easy. But quitting was never an option.
He also acknowledged that performing full sets wasn’t feasible anymore. After canceling several past shows, including 2023’s Power Trip Festival, this night was his gift to the fans.
And what a gift it was.
As Ozzy said his final goodbye from the stage where it all began, it wasn’t just the end of a concert—it was the close of a monumental era.
