We've previously explained the distinction between a watch and a warning, and advised on safe locations within your home. But, are you familiar with a "PDS"? A PDS, or "Particularly Dangerous Situation," denotes an escalated tornado watch issued to warn the public of potentially life-threatening severe weather.
