Popeyes has introduced its very first Signature Sauce, a creamy and mildly spicy Cajun-inspired dip that goes well with nearly every item on their menu.

Popeyes has just spiced up the menu with a brand-new dip that's here to stay and a tasty snack that’s only available for a short time. The fast-food chain has introduced its first-ever Signature Sauce along with Chicken Dippers, a limited-time treat that fans won’t want to miss.

A Creamy Sauce with a Spicy Twist

The new Signature Sauce delivers a perfect mix of creamy, spicy, and slightly sweet flavours. It’s rich, smooth, and loaded with Cajun spices. Popeyes blended bell pepper, celery, and onion—known as the Louisiana “holy trinity”—with garlic and hot sauce to create this bold dip.

It pairs perfectly with almost anything on the menu. Whether you're dipping fries, wings, chicken wraps, or sandwiches, this sauce gives each bite an extra pop of flavour.

Chicken Dippers: A Crispy Limited-Time Snack

To celebrate the new sauce, Popeyes also launched Chicken Dippers. These are thin, crispy strips of all-white chicken breast meat, hand-battered in a garlic and spice mix inspired by the brand’s Louisiana roots.

Sourced directly from Canadian farms, Chicken Dippers are priced at $7* and come with a generous helping of flavour. They’re easy to eat, fun to share, and even better with the new Signature Sauce.

A Sauce Years in the Making

Popeyes didn’t rush this recipe. According to Chef Peter Genna, Director of Culinary Innovation, the sauce took five years to perfect. “Creating a signature sauce is a monumental moment for our brand,” he said. “We took our time, knowing this could become an iconic part of our menu.”

Chef Genna says the sauce is deeply tied to Popeyes’ Louisiana heritage and was made to work with everything the brand offers.

The Party’s Just Getting Started

While Chicken Dippers are only available for a limited time, the Signature Sauce is a permanent menu addition. So even when the dippers disappear, the party doesn’t end.

This launch marks a bold step for Popeyes. Signature sauces are nothing new in the fast-food world, but Popeyes didn’t just follow the trend—they arrived with a bang.

You can grab the Chicken Dippers and Signature Sauce in-store or online at Popeyes locations across Canada. But hurry, the Dippers won’t be around for long.
