Prince Harry is set to visit New York City this autumn, marking a busy period for the Duke of Sussex. Following his 40th birthday celebrations on September 15, he will be in the Big Apple for the UN General Assembly High-Level Week and Climate Week from September 22 to 29.
During his visit, Prince Harry will focus on several of his charitable efforts and organizations he supports. A spokesperson for the Duke shared that he will engage with various groups including African Parks, The HALO Trust, The Diana Award, and Travalyst. Additionally, he will be advancing the work of The Archewell Foundation, the nonprofit he co-founded with his wife, Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex. More specifics about his activities will be announced closer to the events.
Harry’s trip to New York comes shortly after his and Meghan’s recent four-day visit to Colombia, where they focused on topics like digital safety for youth, female empowerment, and mental health. They also launched The Parents' Network, a support system for parents dealing with the impact of social media on their children.

In New York, Prince Harry’s schedule overlaps with Prince William’s Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit, which is set for September 24. It’s not yet clear if Prince William will attend the event, as Kensington Palace has not provided details about his participation.
The Sussexes’ last trip to New York was in October 2023, where they hosted the Archewell Foundation Parents' Summit, addressing mental wellness in the digital age. In May 2023, Meghan Markle was recognized at the Ms. Foundation Women of Vision Awards in New York. This event was followed by a highly publicized and dangerous paparazzi chase.
As Prince Harry gears up for his New York visit, his schedule reflects a continued commitment to the causes he champions, highlighting his focus on philanthropy and social issues.
