Production Details
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller direct this film, adapting Drew Goddard’s screenplay from Weir’s 2021 book. Gosling and Weir join the producers along with Amy Pascal, Aditya Sood, and Rachel O’Connor.
This marks Lord and Miller’s first film as directors since 2014’s 22 Jump Street. They had worked on Solo: A Star Wars Story but left before completion.
At CinemaCon, Gosling joked about the directors: “They are only happy if they make you do the very rare and coveted laugh-cry.”
