Two Canadians had a weekend to remember after they each won half of the $70 million Lotto Max jackpot. The draw happened on Friday, July 11. Both winning tickets were sold in Quebec. Each winner will now take home $35 million. The lucky numbers for the big draw were 04, 05, 10, 34, 36, 44, 50, with the bonus number 23.
Other Prizes Won Across Canada
No one claimed the second prize of $302,486.60. However, 71 winners will split the third prize. Each person will receive $4,260.40.
In addition, there were 10 Maxmillions prizes available. Two tickets, one from Vancouver and one from Ontario, had the matching numbers: 13, 22, 32, 41, 44, 45, and 48. The owners of those tickets will each get $500,000.
More Winners in Other Draws
In British Columbia, someone in Kitimat matched all the winning numbers for the Lotto Max Extra draw. That prize was worth $500,000. Meanwhile, no one in Ontario claimed the $1-million Encore prize.
Previous Lotto Max Jackpot
The last big Lotto Max jackpot happened on June 3. At that time, 15 coworkers from a car dealership in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, shared a $20 million prize.

The next Lotto Max draw will happen on Tuesday, July 15. The jackpot stands at $19 million.
Lotto 6/49 Updates
While no one won the $20-million Gold Ball jackpot from the Lotto 6/49 draw on Saturday, July 12, one person did win the $1-million White Ball prize. The winning number was 21035885-01, and the ticket was sold in Western Canada.
The Classic Draw didn’t have a winner for the $5-million prize either. However, one lucky person from Atlantic Canada matched five out of six numbers and won $178,650.40.
Ninety players across the country will share the third prize. Each will get $833.50.
