The Toronto Raptors ended their four-game skid in a thrilling 106-103 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday night. Scottie Barnes led the charge with 33 points, while Immanuel Quickley contributed 23. Gradey Dick added 17 points, including a crucial three-pointer late in the game. Barnes also set up Ochai Agbaji for a layup with just over a minute left, sealing the win for Toronto.

Joel Embiid put up 27 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the 76ers, but his efforts weren’t enough to prevent Philadelphia from slipping further. With this defeat, the Sixers (20-33) find themselves 13 games below .500, marking their worst standing of the season. Jared Butler provided 15 points off the bench, while Paul George added 12.

Tyrese Maxey struggled, managing only five points on 1-for-9 shooting. His three-point attempts didn’t fare much better, as he sank just one of seven. The Sixers as a team finished with a dismal 9-for-38 from beyond the arc.

Takeaways from the Game

Raptors’ Boost

Before the game, the Raptors secured a key contract extension, signing Brandon Ingram to a three-year, $120 million deal. Acquired from New Orleans last week, Ingram remains sidelined due to an ankle injury, which has kept him off the court since December 7.

Sixers’ Bench Steps Up

Philadelphia’s bench provided solid contributions, with Butler scoring 15 and Quentin Grimes adding 13. However, their efforts couldn’t offset Maxey’s off night, which snapped his impressive streak of 18 consecutive games scoring 25 or more points.

Defining Moments

Embiid’s second-half performance saw him struggle, shooting just 4-for-13 and only 2-for-6 in the fourth quarter. His critical turnover with 8.1 seconds left, while the Sixers trailed by two, proved costly. Dick then sank a free throw to secure the Raptors' victory.

Key Stat

Despite an overall tough shooting night, Toronto found just enough in the fourth quarter, sinking three of their nine three-point attempts to clinch the win.
