RCMP have issued a Canada-wide warrant for 29-year-old Victoria Sheila Elizabeth Hillard. She faces second-degree murder charges in the death of 42-year-old Mark O’Keefe.

Incident Details

Police responded to a report of a suspicious death on December 12, 2023, just after 10 a.m. The death is linked to a vehicle found burning that same day. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Description of Suspect

Hillard has fair skin, blue eyes, and blonde hair but often changes her hair colour. She stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 139 pounds. She has several tattoos, including a mermaid on her left wrist, butterflies on her left forearm, and a triple moon symbol on her upper left forearm.

Public Warning

Police believe Hillard is in the Greater Toronto Area. Officials urge the public not to approach her if spotted. Instead, they should contact Wood Buffalo RCMP immediately.

Anyone with information on Hillard’s location is asked to call Wood Buffalo RCMP at 780-788-4000. Tips can also be given anonymously through Crime Stoppers.

The RCMP stress the importance of community help in locating Hillard and bringing justice to the Fort McMurray case.
