Jude Bellingham, the rising star midfielder of Real Madrid, is facing a setback in his stellar debut season with the club. During their recent triumph over Girona with a 4-0 scoreline, Bellingham suffered a sprained ankle, forcing him to take a hiatus from the field for a few weeks.

Following a thorough assessment on Sunday, the official diagnosis confirmed the extent of Bellingham's injury. It's anticipated that he will be sidelined for several weeks, causing him to miss the initial leg of Real Madrid's round of 16 clash against RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League scheduled for Tuesday. Additionally, Bellingham is expected to sit out three La Liga fixtures, although there's optimism that he may return in time for the second leg against Leipzig on March 6.

Bellingham's absence will undoubtedly be felt by Real Madrid, given his significant contributions throughout the season. With 16 league goals and four in the Champions League to his name, Bellingham has been a pivotal figure in Real Madrid's ascent to the summit of La Liga. However, despite his absence, the team remains optimistic, citing the recent form of other attacking talents within the squad.

Real Madrid's recent goal-scoring exploits, which have seen them net 12 times in their last five outings, underscore the depth of their attacking options. Vinicius Junior has emerged as a standout performer with three goals in this period, while contributions from players like Joselu and Rodrygo have also bolstered the team's attacking prowess. As they navigate through the upcoming fixtures, including clashes against lower-ranked teams in La Liga, Real Madrid will rely on the collective efforts of their attacking lineup to maintain their momentum in Bellingham's absence.
