In Edmonton, the Stingers aimed to match the Vancouver Bandits' Western Conference lead but faced opposition from the visiting Niagara River Lions.

Jahvon Blair's 26-point performance propelled the River Lions to a 100-79 victory. Nathan Cayo added 23 points, shooting 80% from the field.
