In Edmonton, the Stingers aimed to match the Vancouver Bandits' Western Conference lead but faced opposition from the visiting Niagara River Lions.

Jahvon Blair's 26-point performance propelled the River Lions to a 100-79 victory. Nathan Cayo added 23 points, shooting 80% from the field. Despite Ben Krikke's 14 points and Michael Nuga's 13 points and five rebounds for the Stingers, the River Lions dominated, leading 44-35 at halftime and 76-58 into the final quarter.

Coach Jordan Baker acknowledged the need for defensive rebounding improvement. In other Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) games, the Surge defeated the Sea Bears 110-78, led by Sean Miller-Moore's 25 points.

The Shooting Stars secured an 81-73 win over the Honey Badgers, with Tevian Jones and Devoe Joseph scoring 18 and 17 points, respectively. Shamiel Stevenson led the Honey Badgers with 23 points and nine rebounds, while Lj Thorpe contributed 22 points and six rebounds.

The Ottawa BlackJacks will face the Montreal Alliance, while the Brampton Honey Badgers will play against the Saskatchewan Rattlers.
