On Saturday, July 27, Raising Cane's is celebrating National Chicken Finger Day with a tasty giveaway. For this special occasion, the popular fast-food chain is offering a free chicken finger to all members of its Caniac Club loyalty program. This offer is available from July 27 through July 30, with no purchase required. To snag the free chicken finger, simply join the Caniac Club and register your email by 11:59 p.m. ET on Friday.
National Chicken Finger Day has become a beloved annual event for Raising Cane's, a Baton Rouge-based fast-food chain known for its focus on chicken fingers. The chain, which plans to have nearly 900 locations by the end of 2024, has been celebrating this day since 2010. Todd Graves, the founder of Raising Cane’s, created the day to honour and promote the chain's signature chicken fingers. The company trademarked "National Chicken Finger Day" in 2019 and has given away over 150,000 chicken fingers during the event in previous years.

To promote the event this year, Raising Cane's has shared a fun Instagram video featuring singer and rapper Post Malone. In the video, Malone, who has collaborated with the chain on two restaurant locations, struggles to sleep due to his excitement for National Chicken Finger Day. He ends up waking Todd Graves, who is humorously shown sleeping in a chicken finger-themed sleeping bag.

If you want to participate in the free chicken finger giveaway, make sure you're a member of the Caniac Club and visit a Raising Cane location between Saturday and Tuesday. You can also check the chain’s website to find a nearby restaurant.

For those who can’t make it to a Raising Cane’s location, the chain is also running an online giveaway with 727 prizes, including T-shirts, hats, and a chicken finger sleeping bag. You can enter the contest on Raising Cane's website before midnight ET on Saturday.

Additionally, Slim Chickens, another chicken-focused fast-food chain based in Fayetteville, Arkansas, is joining the celebration in its own way. Although not offering free items, Slim Chickens is providing special deals for National Chicken Finger Day. Customers can enjoy 25 chicken tenders for $29 or 20 chicken wings for $25. The chain currently operates over 270 locations.
