Sophia Hutchins, 29, died in a tragic ATV accident near Malibu. The crash happened on the morning of July 2. She was driving an ATV down a road close to Caitlyn Jenner’s home when it hit the back of a moving car.
The impact forced the ATV off the road. It plunged about 350 feet into a ravine. Hutchins died at the scene. The two passengers in the other vehicle were not hurt.
Close Bond with Caitlyn Jenner
Sophia was not just a businesswoman—she was also known for her strong bond with Caitlyn Jenner. She worked as Jenner’s manager and also served as the CEO of the Caitlyn Jenner Foundation. The two met in 2015 after Jenner shared her journey as a transgender woman. They connected instantly.
Their relationship became a topic of public interest. While many speculated about a romantic link, Hutchins clarified they were never involved romantically. She described their bond as a strong and respectful partnership. “We challenge each other, and I’ve grown so much because of her,” Hutchins said in an earlier interview.
A Life of Ambition
Sophia was born in Bellevue, Washington, on April 1, 1996. She graduated from Pepperdine University in 2019 with a degree in economics and finance. She was smart, driven, and full of promise. She went on to become the founder and CEO of LUMASOL, a health tech company.
She also made several appearances on the reality show I Am Cait, which focused on Jenner’s life post-transition. Sophia was close to the Kardashian-Jenner family and even attended Kylie Jenner’s 21st birthday celebration in 2018.
At one point, she also lived with Caitlyn Jenner in her Malibu home. Despite public curiosity, Hutchins maintained her privacy and focused on her career and advocacy.
Remembering Sophia
Hutchins’ death is a huge loss to those who knew and loved her. She made a mark not just in business but in the lives of many around her. Friends, family, and fans are mourning a woman who was intelligent, compassionate, and full of life.
Sophia Hutchins may be gone, but the legacy she leaves—through her work and her voice—will remain.
